What you'll be doing:

Manage and grow your territory by building strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, and hospital teams
-
Provide expert support during surgical procedures
-
Deliver product training and education to healthcare professionals
-
Take the lead in managing tenders, pricing discussions, and strategic territory planning

Monitor and respond to market trends and competitor activity
This is a role for someone who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves. It's challenging, hands-on work in the theatre environment where attention to detail and commitment to patient outcomes are key. While the focus is primarily Auckland, every third week involves travel to Whangarei and Gisborne — so flexibility is important.
Although it's a demanding role, it's not high-pressure trauma — the surgeries are elective and you'll rarely be called in unexpectedly.
Ideally suited to an experienced orthopaedic sales professional, we're also open to candidates from strong clinical backgrounds such as orthopaedic nursing or experienced physiotherapists who are confident, organised, and keen to step into the medical device space.
What we're looking for:

Previous sales success in the medical device or healthcare space

Or, a clinical background (ortho nursing or physio) with commercial aptitude

Strong commercial acumen and a consultative approach

A love of fast-paced, hands-on environments like theatres

A natural relationship builder with strong communication skills

Resilience, drive, and a desire to succeed in a role where you'll be challenged and supported in equal measure
