What You'll Be Doing

Your expertise will contribute to:
• Performing electrical safety testing, equipment maintenance, and repairs.
• Troubleshooting and installing advanced equipment at customer sites.
• Supporting the installation of cutting-edge capital equipment, including OR1 integrated digital theatre systems.
• Advising on workshop requirements and operations.
• Collaborating with the Business Project Manager to prioritise jobs before site visits.
• Offering technical assistance to Sales and Clinical teams.
• Managing company assets such as test equipment, spare parts, and inventory.
• Ensuring compliance with all quality and regulatory standards.

Skills and Experience We're Looking For
 
• Educational Background: Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum of 1 years practical experience in biomedical engineering is essential.
• Certifications: EAS or EST electrical licence with an annual practicing certificate.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in reading schematics, systems diagrams, and performing repairs/replacements.
• Workplace Knowledge: Experience in hospital environments is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, team player, and adaptable to flexible hours when required.
• Licence: A valid New Zealand driver's licence.
